The following responsibilities were reviewed by the Board of Directors and approved as Application for Board Director/Officer Nomination.
If elected as a Director or Officer of WCREALTORS, you must be willing to make every effort to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities. Your completion and submission of this application is your pledge to do so. This application, completed, signed, and dated is to be submitted to the Association Executive no later than 5:00pm, Saturday, August 31, 2021. Interviews for positions will be held between September 1, 2022 and September 15, 2022 with a slate of candidates to be presented to the membership for vote at the October 18, 2022 Annual Meeting.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® is to meet the real estate challenges of the present and future; enhance and promote REALTOR® members’ professionalism; provide quality services; and encourage involvement in our communities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Directors/Officers are expected to gain heightened knowledge of the mission, goals, bylaws, and policies of WCREALTORS. This includes knowledge of the community and commitment to maintaining a strong organization that is responsive to the membership. It calls for the ability to handle organization business with tact, enthusiasm, and commitment and to communicate effectively. Likewise, the ability to motivate committee members, take responsibility and follow through on assignments and to work well with people individually and in a group is desired. Prior service on an Association committee is recommended.
Term of Service
Directors are elected for 3-year terms. Officers, except for the President-Elect, are elected for 1- year terms. Directors and Officers may be re-elected according to the bylaws. Officers are members of the Board of Directors.
